LED by LightStim
FDA approved light therapy (UV free) to treat wrinkles and aging. It is known that aging begins with inflammation, and that is why I am a huge believer of LED to help the skin rejuvenate from the inside by reducing inflammation and increasing circulation. The Lightstim LED is a soothing, natural, and non-invasive treatment utilizing the power of LightStim MultiWave® Patented Technology.
During treatment the skin’s chromophores (hemoglobin, melanin, and water) absorb and utilize red and amber light waves increasing cellular energy (ATP), oxygenation, and nutrient transport, which results in firmer-healthier-glowing skin.
Microcurrent by Neurotris
Although we don’t often think of electricity when we think of skincare, this cosmetic treatment applies pulses of low-voltage micro currents to stimulate ATP production, which stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, the skin-smoothing proteins that get depleted with age. Microcurrent by Neurotris is a procedure that works to realign and re-educate the skin’s underlying muscles for a tighter and more toned facial appearance.
Microcurrent tightening is relaxing, painless, and will not cost you any downtime. The micro current energy is so minimal that it does not produce any sensation. It simply targets sagging-tired skin at a cellular level to correct itself, resulting in a more youthful glow and revitalized facial contours.
Benefits of microcurrent include:
- Re-educates the facial muscles
- Non-invasive and non-surgical
- Encourages the absorption of topically applied products
- Stimulates ATP production, energizing the tissues
- Reduces wrinkles, fine lines, creases, and folds
- Triggers the growth of collagen and elastin
- Increases circulation
- Promotes lymphatic drainage
- Moisturizes and detoxifies the skin
- Lifting, firming, and brightening the complexion
- Reduces acne scarring and sun damage
- Instant results
- Painless (no anesthesia required)
- FDA-approved, safe and effective
There are certain contraindications for microcurrent that would prohibit some clients from receiving microcurrent treatment, which include: epilepsy, pregnancy or trying to get pregnant, pacemaker, metal plates or pins, melanoma, phlebitis, thrombosis, and varicose veins.

Facial Contouring Massage with Microcurrent for Fascia Release
The facial contouring massage (FCM) combines a facial massage with microcurrent through the hands, specifically designed to manipulate fascia. It works on all layers of the skin, including the connective tissues and structures, by lifting and softening muscles. This dramatically improves lymphatic drainage that not only has a detoxifying and anti-aging effect, but also a positive influence on overall health.
By incorporating hints of craniosacral touches and myofascial release techniques the FCM addresses issues from the décolleté to the scalp, releasing facial contractions exacerbated by age, stress, and poor sleep.
Precautions for FCM with microcurrent include: epilepsy, pregnancy or trying to get pregnant, pacemaker, metal plates or pins, melanoma, or phlebitis.*
*The FCM can be performed without microcurrent for those whom microcurrent is not an option.
Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a manual method of exfoliation that removes vellus facial hair (peach fuzz) and dead skin cell buildup. The process is gentle and doesn’t cause any discomfort. The blades used during dermaplaning are disposable and designed specifically for the treatment. They are made from a blend of stainless and carbon steel with a polymer coating. This ensures that each blade stays sharp and glides effortlessly across the skin. I prefer the oil method of dermaplaning, which reduces irritation and inflammation during and after the treatment.
Dermaplaning enhances the effects of topical professional treatments and product penetration at home. Once the vellus hair and superficial skin cells have been removed, the peels used are more effective because they are able to penetrate more efficiently.
Contraindications and special recommendations for dermaplaning include:
- Sunburn or windburn
- Cold sores
- Active acne (grade 3 or above)
- Bleeding disorders
- Undergoing treatment for cancer or uncontrolled diabetes
- If you are undergoing laser treatments, we ask that you wait 14 days before scheduling dermaplaning
- Retin-A, retinal, retinol: please discontinue using for 5 days before your treatment
- Botox or fillers: please wait one week before treatment
- Accutane users: must wait one year
- Clients with darker skin who are prone to hyperpigmentation should prepare their skin ahead of time with a brightening serum. If shaving your legs or underarms causes discoloration, this applies to you
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), Dr. Vodder technique.
A soothing and relaxing massage using a gentle but effective circular pumping motion that activates the parasympathetic response in the body. Once activated, the body begins to heal.
The lymphatic system consists of a large network of lymphatic vessels and lymph nodes throughout the body. Intrinsically linked to your immune system, the lymphatic network aids in the removal of waste products from body tissue. The lymphatic system functions via, and is dependent on, the pressure of the blood system. Because of this, the efficacy of your lymph nodes in eliminating toxins is dependent on the efficacy of your circulatory system, which can mean a slower-than-desirable detoxification process. This is where physical manipulation of the lymph nodes helps speed up the process. As a beneficial side effect, your immune system is also boosted.
Before treatment, some clients may experience impaired lymph drainage where, for example, flow is obstructed or simply insufficient. When flow is obstructed or too slow, lymphatic fluid (lymph) accumulates in the tissue and causes swelling in the affected area, which can cause skin irritation or inflammation. Buildup of lymphatic fluid can cause discomfort, puffiness, and a dull complexion.
Sculptural with Buccal Massage
SCULPT, LIFT & TONE: No botox, no fillers, Just YOU!
A lifetime of subconscious movement influences how our face changes as we age. The sculpting buccal technique is a powerful advanced clinical and aesthetic massage to sculpt, plump and refresh your facial contours. In this treatment I have created a fusion of Eastern and Western European techniques. As I continue my trainings this treatment will continue to evolve.
The treatment is a 2-phase methodology for releasing muscular tension, while restoring vitality and fullness to the face. A non-surgical, inside-out approach that unlocks tension and creates a thixotropic state from which natural rejuvenation occurs. The changes in the tissues include: increasing microcirculation, mobilizing stagnant lymph, increasing the hyperplasticity of the facial adipose fascia (fat pads), and restored mobility of facial muscles. The results: redefined facial contour, lifted cheeks & eyes, reduced jowls, softer nasal-label folds, fuller lips, and reduction in under-eye puffiness and dark circles.
The first phase (20 minutes) is a meticulous and strategic manipulation of the chest, neck, and cranium. The second phase (40 minutes) is an intra-oral buccal technique that simultaneously works the deep exterior and interior fascia and muscles of the face. Working from inside the mouth, with gloved hand, to address facial contours is truly transformational and very relaxing.
The results are cumulative and truly speak for themselves. I recommend a series of 4 weekly treatments for anyone under age 40 and 8 weekly treatments for those over age 40. Monthly maintenance is encouraged to maintain results following a series.
**PLEASE NOTE: This cannot be performed on anyone who has received Botox or facial filler within the last 4 weeks and is not advisable for active acne.**
“I really liked the Yakov technique. First of all, it was very relaxing and I agree that my face looked even better on days 2 and 3. It obviously released the fascia and tension lines, brought blood flow to my skin (it was glowing!), some lymph drainage, and I can see how over time it may even train the muscles (not sure that’s the correct language?) to remember their more youthful positioning on my face.” - Erica
"Although at first skeptical, I was absolutely blown away by the results of my eight week sculptural facial massage routine. From the first treatment, I could feel a significant opening in my mouth that resulted in fuller lips and increased facial elasticity. Around week three, I began to see fine lines smooth, my elevens nearly disappear, and a rejuvenation in my overall skin appearance. By week seven, I appeared fuller and more youthful, with a significant decrease in undereye bags. Not only were these treatments effective, but they were relaxing: from the music Erin utilizes to her technique, this regimen is nothing short of transformative. We are so fortunate to have Erin's expertise and constant dedication to being at the top of the global skin care game, right here in Delaware" - Gina
